Short Meditation for Stress Relief – Free Resource

When you feel stressed it is a good idea to regularly take a time out. Just to give yourself a little time to take a few deep breaths, connect with the Earth and your inner strength and start building your resilience. This short meditation for stress relief is perfect, you can use it as often as you need.

A Short Meditation for Stress Relief:

Stay Calm in Stressful Times

Close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths and connect with the earth beneath your feet. 

Imagine strong roots connecting you with the earth, branching out deeper and wider until you feel secure. Imagine the wind blowing through your head, clearing all the thoughts and worries that you may have. Imagine how liberating that feels!

Your strong roots are keeping you connected to the earth, and to the present moment. No matter what happens, you can choose to feel strong in this moment. Feel the strength in your heart and let it expand all through your body. Let it expand beyond your body, as far as you can reach.

In your mind, visit your favourite natural place. One that makes you feel happy and calm. Stay there as long as you need. Keep breathing deeply and keep feeling your roots, connected deeply into the earth.

When you are ready, softly open your eyes, have a gentle stretch and come back to the present moment. Repeat this exercise as often as you need. 💚
