When you live with chronic conditions, you are under a lot of stress. Physical symptoms, negative emotions, the medical tests and procedures, the loss of function, pain, worry, fear, fatigue … the list goes on. All this stress has an impact on your nervous system, and consequently, unfortunately, on your physical and mental health. In my approach, I therefore make a point of regulating your nervous system as the first objective. There are several ways to do that and EFT and Nature Connection are amongst the most powerful. Beyond that, all modalities in my coaching approach serve to release negative emotions, the negative charge of memories, limiting belief systems and subconscious patterns that don’t serve you and to rebuild your life in a more positive and empowered frame, where you can feel whole and connected to yourself and the world around you.

FAQ about the Nature Connection Courses:
Why do you offer Nature Connection courses online?
The obvious answer is accessibility. There are lots of in-person ‘forest bathing workshops’, ‘nature retreats’ and more on offer these days. There is a need for and an interest in nature connection and its benefits. But you may not have in-person events around the corner. Or these events may not be offered at a time that suits you. The online format ensures access to anyone, anytime, anywhere!
But there is more to it! Maybe less obvious, but really important is the following reason: these outdoor activities are generally offered in groups and that is not always the best way for you to get really connected to nature. The energy of the people around you can be very distracting, so it is much more effective to do these exercises by yourself in nature. The self paced course is perfect for that. If you feel that you could benefit from more support then the interactive format of the online group course will you the benefits of support where you need it!
So especially when you are someone who really battles with stress and finds it difficult to relax, someone who is easily distracted or someone who has anxiety about what others think of you, you could really benefit from this online setup.

How can nature help me?
Nature can help you release stress, change your focus to more positive thoughts, find your inner calm, experience positive emotions like awe and wonder, have more creative thoughts and an increased ability to problem solve, improve your concentration, improve your self confidence, improve your sleep, improve your physical and mental health, … the list goes on and on!! This is all scientifically proven!
What about the fact that we are losing nature?
Are you worried about losing nature? Do you feel a deep sadness about the Biodiversity Loss and Climate Crisis? Do you suffer from Eco-grief and/or Climate-anxiety? Do you think about your children, grandchildren and beyond…. what kind of world we are leaving behind for them?
Nature Connection plays an important role in changing your perspective on and your relationship with nature. Increased appreciation of nature is fundamental in turning the tides and often leads to purposeful action. When you take the Touched by Nature Course, it will first focus on the important step of building the foundation, on building a real connection with nature and get you in a place from where you feel stronger, more energised and more inspired. So if you worry a lot about the earth and don’t know what to do then it is really helpful to develop a deeper connection with nature. It will help you find a way to contribute positively to nature because you will feel more energized, more positive, more creative, and have a better capacity of problem solving thinking all of which will find you motivated and inspired to take action.

How much time do I have to put in?
Doing the Touched by Nature Course doesn’t have to take a huge amount of time. For the best results it is important to set some time aside each day to step outside and do an exercise in nature (and report about your experiences on the interactive course forum when you are in the group course). It won’t feel like a chore, rather it will be a lovely break from your daily activities and stressors – some real ‘you-time’ to help you recover and restore from stress!!
I suffer from depression and anxiety, can this help me?
Absolutely! While these courses are not a replacement for therapy or medication, nature can help you in many ways to feel better.
Can this help people with trauma?
Yes it can! Again, these courses are not a replacement for therapy but nature can help you in many ways to relief your stress, even if it’s high level stress such as when you suffer from PTSD or Complex Trauma.
I’m on a waitlist for mental health care … can this help me?
Same answer! Yes, taking this course can help you bridge that waiting gap. But be aware it is not a replacement for therapy.
FAQ about the Coaching Packages:
Can I do coaching instead of therapy?
It is important that you understand that coaching and therapy are two different things. Therefore coaching is not a replacement for therapy, but they can exist really well side by side.
In simple terms the main difference is this: therapists can diagnose and treat mental health conditions while a coach supports people to work towards personal development goals to make positive changes in their lives. You will find that it is very possible that this process helps you with feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, even trauma, especially when we use Clinical EFT.
My coaching programs are meant to support you alongside any medical treatment or therapy that you need and these different angles can complement each other really well.
What is a Discovery Session?
A Discovery Session is an opportunity for you to connect with me in a private space, without any pressure.
Together, we can explore what brings you here and how I can best support you to create lasting transformation.
There will be space for you to ask any questions you might have about Clinical EFT and other modalities in my holistic approach, so that you can make a fully informed decision on your next step.

Can I do more then one package?
You absolutely can! Once you have done a package you are welcome to continue working with me on the next steps in your journey at any time.
Is Women-centered Coaching only for women?
While these powerful coaching techniques have originally been developed for women, it has been found that these coaching methods work for other genders too. The only difference being that people of different genders generally struggle with different cultural barriers and these often form the foundation upon which inner limiting beliefs and identities are formed. Through my training I have been informed of the various cultural barriers that people of different genders may encounter, and we will be able to explore your personal experiences together. I welcome clients from all genders.
I don’t want to do tapping, but I do want coaching!
That is possible. I am happy to coach you. I believe the blend of transformational coaching and EFT is incredibly powerful, but each modality is powerful on its own too. We will start with where you are comfortable and you are free to change your mind along the way.
FAQ about Clinical EFT:
What does EFT stand for?
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. In short, it is known as tapping, as you literally physically tap on certain acupressure points with your fingertips when you use the technique.
What is so special about Clinical EFT?
You will find a lot of people offering EFT. You may see YouTube videos, find EFT scripts or meditations. You may even have been introduced to it by a mental health provider as a part of their tool kit. While this more generalised version of EFT is beneficial, Clinical EFT goes deeper. Clinical EFT is a science based, accredited, standardised method and Clinical EFT Practitioners have been trained in 48 scientifically proven techniques that help you get to the root of your problem.
Most people try to tap on general issues such as anxiety or procrastination. This is helpful, as tapping always helps you relax your nervous system, but it doesn’t take away the root cause and therefore the issue will likely remain a recurring one. Neuroscience has shown how our brains tag our experiences, based on sensory, physical and emotional sensations and therefore Clinical EFT Practitioners are trained to guide clients to the specific memories that created the issue in the first place and how to facilitate the releasing of the emotional charge and the rewiring of the neural pathways.
I suffer from trauma, I don’t want to get specific on those memories, that’s way too triggering!
You don’t have to do anything that you are not ready for. Clinical EFT Practitioners are trained in what we call Gentle Trauma Techniques. These help you to keep feeling safe and in charge. That means for instance that if you don’t want to talk about your trauma, we can still work on it.
Furthermore, it means that I am acutely aware of how important it is not to force anything as that would risk re-traumatisation. Therefore, we will take the greatest care to only work at a pace that your nervous system can tolerate.

Why do you focus so much on body sensations?
Take a moment to think about an emotion. What really happens when you experience fear, anger or sadness? You will feel a sensation in your body. Perhaps a tightening in the chest, sweaty palms, a knot in your stomach, a pressure in your head? First and foremost an emotion is a physical reaction. Then we put thoughts and labels to it. When we want to release an emotion it is therefore important to work with the body sensations that go with it.
How often do I have to practice EFT?
You can use EFT in a number of ways!
π When you feel anxious EFT is a great tool to help you calm down instantly. You can just tap and focus on the feeling that you are experiencing. You can see it as an emergency tool!
But you can get a lot more out of it as well:
πCreating a daily habit of using EFT is great. You can use it around anything that bothers you and you can even use it to set up a positive start of your day. This way you will train your nervous system more and more to be calm and relaxed.
πEFT is most powerful when you work on specific things. Usually our general issues and patterns are rooted in past experiences. As a practitioner, I can help you to find these and release their emotional charge, which often changes your perspective on current or future situations.
If these past experiences happen to be quite traumatic, then I will be able to use gentle trauma techniques and help you to keep feeling safe and in charge.
How many sessions do I need?
Bigger issues will generally take more sessions then smaller issues, but not always! To get a good feel for the results you can get with Clinical EFT you need at least a couple of sessions. This is why I offer packages. The ‘Freedom4You‘ 4-sessions-package is a great place to start and get an idea of what EFT can do for you. You can repeat the package as often as you need. If you are ready to take a deeper dive, then I recommend my 12-sessions-package ‘DIVE Beneath the Symptoms’ in which you will receive additional email support.
If you feel curious but really unsure, I do have the option to try it out with a single session.
